                                                      Tour Description

We begin this private tour outside of the Franciscan Basilica of Santa Croce. What separates this church from many others in Italy is, Santa Croce is the burial place of some of the most illustrious Italians in history; the tombs of Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli and may more lay in peace, side by side in the sumptuous interior.

Having experienced the grandeur of Basilica Santa Croce and its Piazza and we then head towards the Uffizi Gallery; One of the oldest and most famous galleries in the world. Its awe-inspiring collection includes works of art by Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Giotto and Botticelli amongst many others. Our Florentine guide will lead you through the seemingly endless corridors while stopping at all of the must sees, and most interesting pieces that the gallery has to offer. A full entertaining and comprehensive explanation of these iconic works will be provided ensuring that you can truly enjoy what we will see while on tour.

Don't take a chance and miss out on the best sites that Florence can offer. This tour is ideal for both first time visitors and return travelers.
